Haleem is a dish native to the Middle East, namely the Arab area. It has been adopted and popularised in many different parts of the world, including the Indian subcontinent. Haleem, which was introduced by Arab traders, has become an essential component of local cuisines in nations such as India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Slow-cooking a combination of beef, lentils, and wheat grains until they break down into a thick, porridge-like consistency is how it is usually cooked. Chicken Haleem is a meal variant that features chicken as the main protein.
